The Registered Nurse performs a variety of responsible nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments and ability to work independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include doctor's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, hospital policies. As a member of the health care team, serves as Clinical Nurse performing professional nursing duties for the care of inpatients. Nursing duties include the provision of patient care and support to individuals of all ages and their families.
Description of work experience, level of responsibility and accomplishments will be used to determine that you meet the following requirements: A minimum of one year Pediatric Inpatient Unit experience is required. A valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States of America. Must also furnish a valid CPR certification and a current certification in BLS. Highly encouraged to possess the ability to speak and understand the Navajo and/ or Hopi languages to be able to communicate with the patients and provide interpretation for other providers.
